In the city of Toronto, Ontario, an ambitious engineering project is reshaping the landscape and redefining stormwater management with PERI’s help. The Coxwell Bypass Tunnel Inverts, contracted by North Tunnel Constructors ULC, marks the first stride in the City of Toronto’s Wet Weather Flow Master Plan. This endeavor is a 10.5-kilometer long, 6.3-meter diameter tunnel running parallel to the Don Valley Parkway (DVP), aimed at virtually eliminating combined sewer overflows into Lake Ontario.
