Champlain Bridge
Montréal, Canada

Construction of the new Champlain Bridge represented one of North America’s biggest worksites. With its impressive scope broadly visible along the Saint Lawrence River, the new Champlain Bridge changes the urban look of Montreal and becomes a new symbol for the metropolis.

Serving as a gateway into the city of Montreal, the 3.4 km long new Champlain Bridge is an asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a striking 168-meter-high concrete pylon and stay cables in a harp arrangement. The signature bridge includes a two-lane rail corridor for the Réseau express métropolitain, a six-lane corridor for vehicles, and a multi-use corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.

“I am really satisfied with the use of the system and working with PERI. I would recommend the use of this system to anybody. The ease of using this system and fast execution really helped us on this project. The flexibility on panel configurations with minimal components is a huge time saver for my team.”
